When my phone froze
I couldn’t answer a call
or read a text
I tried all the shortcuts,
linked it to my laptop,
backed up and restored
When none of it worked
I went online for a chat,
they call it support.
That drone was helpful,
made me smile
while I jumped
through their hoops.
Then I made an appointment
to see someone
who might help
but they pointed out a scratch,
said I was out of warranty.

Quarantine meant nothing to him, he was determined to beat the game.

Living alone was his lifestyle but now his distraction had become an obsession. It all began the morning he met the local sergeant.

“Jaysus, who’s that? For fuck’s sake.”
